Borough of Seaside Park will be hosting a public comment session on Friday February 2, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. which will be held in the second floor Borough Council Meeting Room (located at Sixth & Central Avenues) in Seaside Park.

The intent of the meeting is to receive public input regarding proposed improvements to the Well No. 10 Treatment Facility located on Decatur Avenue.

The full 2018 Garbage & Recycling Schedule has been posted.  It is also available at Borough Hall (1701 North Ocean Ave), Construction Dept (4th & Central Ave – use 4th Ave side door), Seaside Park Police Department (6th & Central Aves), Recycling Center (14th & Barnegat Aves).

The Borough will performing a 72 consecutive hour pump test on Well #10 at Decatur & Lake Avenues.  There may be some temporary ponding of water in the road.

To all Seaside Park residents, the Borough’s Water Department has responded to numerous homes to shut off the water due to broken pipes. We encourage all residents to inspect their houses for leaks, especially those who do not occupy their homes year round. If you need to have your water shut off at the street, you may call Borough Hall during normal business hours, 8 am- 4 pm, at 732-793-3700. For after hours and holidays please call the Police Department at 732-793-8000. Thank you!

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., that due to the snow emergency, the Thursday, January 4, 2018 re-organization meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Seaside Park for 2018 has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 11, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The re-organization meeting will be held in the second floor Borough Council Meeting Room located at Sixth and Central Avenues, Seaside Park. It is anticipated formal action may be taken at this time.
A resolution may be adopted to authorize the governing body to meet in executive (closed) session in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(d).
