The traffic light at the intersection of J Street and Central Avenue is now fully operational. 


Effective May 1st, the speed limit on Central Avenue is 25 Miles Per Hour.  

COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Assistance Program

Beginning Monday 2/22/2021, the Borough of Seaside Park will begin its COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Assistance Program for eligible residents of Seaside Park.

Due to concerns that some residents of Seaside Park do not have access to computers or may have apprehension when it comes to registering, the Mayor and Council have authorized the Recreation Department in conjunction with volunteers from the community, to aid in this endeavor. Beginning Monday 2/22, residents can call the Recreation Department extension (732-793-3700 Ext. 105) weekdays and leave their name, address, and phone number. A member of the Recreation Department or one of our volunteers will then return the call to obtain the necessary information to register for the  COVID-19 Vaccine. 

Residents using this program will provide all of the information that is required for the online registration process, including their name, address, phone number, date of birth, gender, current employment status, existing medical issues (asthma, cancer, etc.) and other general information that is required when registering for the COVID-19 vaccine on the State of New Jersey’s website.

No financial or specific insurance information will be required, and residents will not be asked to give their Social Security Number during the registration process. All information given to the Borough of Seaside Park during the registration process will be entered directly into the State of New Jersey’s vaccine registration website and will NOT BE KEPT ON FILE by the Borough. The Recreation Department will only keep the resident’s contact information on file.

If the resident using this vaccine registration assistance program does not have a personal email address, the Recreation Department and/or volunteer will input a borough email address into the State website during the registration process. Then, the State will use the borough email address to confirm the resident’s registration and also to schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine at a later date. The Recreation Department and/or volunteer will relay any information received from the State via the borough email address to that resident via telephone.

Please NOTE the following –

 **This program is for permanent residents only. If you have a second home in Seaside Park, please register with your permanent residence locale. 

** In regards to this program, please DO NOT physically go to Borough Hall for questions on this program. This process should be done via phone as to avoid unnecessary exposure to COVID-19 and other illnesses that may compromise our residents.

Printed collection schedules will be mailed out in January and will also be available at the Borough Hall (1701 North Ocean Ave), Construction Department (313 SW Central Ave – please use 4th Ave side door), Police Station foyer (6th & Central Aves.) and Recycling Yard (14th & Barnegat Aves – in the shed brochure holder).  Questions?? NJ Statewide PPE Access Program

From the State of New Jersey:

We’re expanding the discounts available through the PPE Access Program.

Starting tomorrow (November 24th) all approved organizations with 100 or fewer employees can purchase PPE through the program at a 65% discount. The 65% discount will be on top of the 10% discount already available to all New Jersey businesses and non-profits. In addition, the per-company discount caps will increase from $500 to $1,000 for organizations located in one of New Jersey’s 715 Opportunity Zone eligible census tracts and from $400 to $800 for all other approved organizations.

All additional small business discounts will now expire on December 10th, regardless of when the organization first applied.

Already approved?

All organizations approved before Tuesday, November 24th, (including those who apply today), will automatically have their existing retaileraccounts updated to reflect these changes. The 65% discounts will only be eligible for purchases on or after November 24th. All purchases made before November 24th (including today) will be at the 10% + 25% discounted rate.

The Borough Offices are closed to the public until further notice. Due to the COVID-19 virus we have restricted attendance in the offices. If you are having trouble reaching the office staff, please use our website to find the email of the office and or staff you are trying to reach. All emails are checked during the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

You can look up Taxes and /or Water & Sewer information on our website. There is no fee to look up account information.

If you are trying to make a payment for Taxes and/or Water & Sewer billings, you have several options as follows:

  1. Payments can be made on our website for a fee depending on method of payment. This service is located to right of the site third item under the beach webcam. A receipt for payments can be printed from this site.
  2. We have a drop box located in the back of 1701 N Ocean Ave for payments. (NO CASH)
    **NO CASH payments are accepted at this time**
  3. You can mail your payments to 1701 N Ocean Ave, Seaside Park, NJ, 08752.
    (your check is your receipt) If you are looking for a receipt to be mailed back to you a self-addressed stamped envelope is required.
