Borough of Seaside Park – Green Acres Application Public Hearing Announcement
PURPOSE: The Borough of Seaside Park is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at the Borough of Seaside Park “J” Street Marina located at 101 J St, Seaside Park, NJ 08752 and the intersection of J Street and Central Avenue in Seaside Park.
PROJECT SCOPE: The Borough of Seaside Park proposes to renovate the Seaside Park “J” Street Marina. The project scope includes the removal and replacement of bulkheading, timber pilings, dock boardwalk, lighting, electrical upgrades, dock pedestals, drainage improvements and site elevation in the Borough of Seaside Park, New Jersey. This application does not propose any tree removal. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: seasideparknj.org
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on February 19th, 2026, at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held In Person, as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
