Please plan accordingly when traveling to Seaside Park for the day. Additionally, online web sales are will NOT guarantee access to the beach. Seaside Park  Seasonal Beach Badge sales will resume on May 1st. Badge sales will be both in person at our boardwalk location between N and O Streets AND online. Online sales can be redeemed at the same location.

Badges are required for access to beaches 10am to 5pm beginning Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) then weekends only until June 19th. Beginning June 19th, beach badges are required seven days per week from 10am to 5pm.

Lifeguards are on duty  10am to 5pm beginning Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) then weekends only until June 19th. Beginning June 19th, lifeguards are on duty seven days per week from 10am to 5pm.

Hour of operation for preseason beach badge sales are as follows:

Beginning May 1st – Monday through Friday 10am to 3pm; Weekends 10am to 5pm.

2021 Summer Badge Prices

 Seasonal Badge  – $60 (May 1st through June 14th); $65 (June 15th through Labor Day)

Senior Badge (65 years of age and older with proof of age) – $20

Weekly Badge (Saturday to Saturday; sold beginning June 19th) – $35

Daily Badge  – $12

Seasonal Boat Ramp Pass – $80 (May 1st through June 14th); $100 (June 15th through Labor Day)

Daily Boat Ramp Pass – $25

Children 11 & Under are FREE
Active & Retired Military AND Dependents are FREE with proper ID

In order to provide funds to improve, maintain and police said places of resort and to protect the same from erosion, encroachment and damage by sea or otherwise, and to provide facilities and safeguards for public bathing and recreation, including the employment of lifeguards, the following reasonable fees shall be charged for persons 12 years of age and over using said lands and bathing facilities for access to the beach and bathing and recreational facilities. All beach fees will be waived to persons in active military service in any of the Armed Forces of the United States and to their spouse or dependent children over the age of 12; active members of the New Jersey National Guard who have completed initial active duty training and to their spouse or dependent children over the age of 12; and veterans who have served in any of the Armed Forces of the United States and who were discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable and who either have served at least 90 days in active duty or have been discharged or released from active duty by reason of an actual service-incurred injury or disability. In lieu of presenting a municipal beach tag to gain free admission to certain bathing beaches, the above-mentioned military personnel, veterans, their spouse and dependent children must present a valid military identification card, form DD-214 or similar document, or state driver’s license or identification card indicating that the holder is a veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States in lieu of presenting a municipal beach tag to gain admission to beaches.
