2017 Summer/Fall Household Hazardous Waste Events in Ocean County

Ocean County has announced Household Hazardous Waste Events for the Summer/Fall of 2017.  This is your chance to get rid of those unwanted paints, solvents, pool chemicals, pesticides/herbicides, auto products, etc. that you may have in your house or garage, safely and responsibly .  The Borough of Seaside Park strongly encourages you take advantage of these FREE events.  Seaside Park cannot take HHW items for you so please use this service while it is still available!  Pre-registration is required.  The events will take place in Little Egg Harbor Twp. (7/15/17), Jackson Twp. (8/5/17),  Lakewood Twp.(8/27/17), Long Beach Twp. (9/23/17) and Point Pleasant Boro. (10/7/17)

2017 Shredding  Events in Ocean County

The Ocean County Board Of Chosen Freeholders and The Ocean County Department Of Solid Waste Management are sponsoring several document shredding events in 2017 throughout Ocean County. This is open to all Ocean County residents who want to safely and securely recycle old personal documents. Seaside Park will be hosting one of these shredding events on Saturday, May 20th 2017 from 9AM to 11AM at the recycling center located at 14th & Barnegat Aves.

Participants are limited to 6 boxes of documents per day. Materials NOT accepted for shredding are X-rays, CD’s, floppy disks, microfilm and file folders. Please visit the Ocean County Solid Waste Management website at http://www.co.ocean.nj.us/SolidWaste/ for more information.

Ocean County has announced Household Hazardous Waste Events for the Spring of 2017.  This is your chance to get rid of those unwanted paints, solvents, pool chemicals, pesticides/herbicides, auto products, etc. that you may have in your house or garage, safely and responsibly .  The Borough of Seaside Park strongly encourages you take advantage of these FREE events.  Seaside Park cannot take HHW items for you so please use this service while it is still available!  Pre-registration is required.  The events will take place in Stafford (4/1/17), Toms River (5/13/17), and Manchester (6/3/17).
