The Water Department will be conducting the semi-annual flushing of its water distribution system on Monday, October 31st through Friday, November 4th. Residents may notice a temporary discoloration of their water or a slight decrease in water pressure as a result of opening the hydrants. Flushing the system twice per year improves the quality of the water and tests the fire hydrants for proper operation. If you have any questions, please contact the Water Department at 732-793-5100.
